Pacific Ag. Rentals was founded in September of 2000 by Charlie Walker & a Board of Directors. Charlie started in Salinas Equipment Distributors back in 1989 and developed a name for himself in the Rental Industry as one of the largest companies renting 80hp to 90hp tractors in America. Salinas Equipment Dist. was sold out in 1998 and Charlie started his 2 year non-compete clause that was part of the sale agreement. The 2 years is over and once again Charlie has teamed up with a group of investors to go out and re-establish their presence in the Agriculture Rental market.

Since the beginning, Pacific Ag. Rentals has been oriented to serving and fulfilling the needs of agriculture interests with quality implements, tractors, parts, hardware, and other necessities at the best prices possible. 

Charlie Walker started selling agriculture products in the late 60's. He has the product knowledge and the experience to answer your questions or concerns when it comes to finding out what you need to get the job done. Teaming up with Charlie is his son Bart Walker, who worked for Salinas Equipment for 6 years and our Shop Manager, Louie Ray who also worked for SED since it started. We now have a full staff of mechanics, service trucks, tractor-trailers and office personnel to service your needs. Our equipment and mechanics will travel with the harvest season from Yuma Arizona all the way up to the Sacramento area, over to the Fresno Valley and into the Salinas area. We have established partnerships with the dealers in each area to help us provide the best service possible.

We specialize in renting, leasing and financing any size of equipment package. Being a medium sized business allows us to be flexible and creative in financing equipment. You can buy outright, or rent the equipment for a while and return it when you are finished, or we can put it on a lease to own payment plan.

We have a full service shop that keeps our equipment running smoothly. We have radio dispatched service trucks that can repair down equipment in a hurry. Our mechanics have been working in the field for over 8 years and are experienced to handle concerns that arise from the daily use of farm equipment. We can also use our low-boy trailer to deliver the equipment right to your location.

We have a large fleet of John Deere, Case IH and Ford tractors ranging in horsepower from 45 to 235hp. We also have Cat track layers for rent or sale. We are the local dealer for Laser Guided land leveling systems, Harlo 2WD and 4WD field forklifts, Balzer flail shredders, and a direct supplier of aluminum irrigation pipe and fittings. We carry a large range of tillage equipment, starting from shovels and sweeps to discs and rippers.
